University of Cyprus and CUT announce upcoming enrollment results

Candidates for the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) are awaiting final placement results following a highly competitive enrollment period. Approximately 90% of successful candidates in the Pan-Cypriot examinations have secured their initial positions, while hundreds of others have applied for the second allocation round or sought to improve their existing placements.

At the University of Cyprus, authorities have received approximately 1,200 applications for the second allocation process and 180 requests for positions based on special criteria. Kleanthis Pissaridis, head of the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service, confirmed these figures. Meanwhile, the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is expected to release its second allocation results between August 3 and August 4, 2026.

Results for the University of Cyprus are scheduled for release on September 4, with the academic year set to commence on September 7. Results for those applying through special criteria at the University of Cyprus are expected toward the end of August. These processes occur in parallel with Greek university enrollment applications, highlighting the high demand for local higher education despite international options.
