Cyprus police issue multiple wanted notices for various criminal investigations

The Cyprus Police have released a series of wanted notices regarding three distinct criminal investigations spanning the Nicosia and Limassol districts. Authorities are seeking an unidentified individual for a theft from a vehicle occurring in Strovolos on July 23, 2026. Simultaneously, multiple suspects are wanted for a violent altercation in Limassol on July 20, 2026, involving charges of conspiracy, assault, possession of offensive weapons, and extortion.

In a separate case, police are searching for 53-year-old Michalakis Onisiforou from Nicosia. He is suspected of involvement in the illegal trade, export, and possession of antiquities, as well as money laundering activities conducted throughout 2025, both locally and online. The Morphou Criminal Investigation Department is leading the search for Onisiforou, while other investigations are being handled by local district departments.

Law enforcement is urging the public to assist in these investigations. Anyone with information regarding these individuals is requested to contact the respective district CID offices, the nearest police station, or the Citizen's Hotline at 1460.
