Limassol police issue wanted notices for suspects in multiple violent incidents

The Cyprus Police have issued wanted notices for several individuals involved in distinct violent incidents in the Limassol district. In one case, authorities are searching for Walid Aljuhmani (23) and Qasai Aljuhmani (25), along with an unidentified third person, in connection with an attack at a construction site on July 20, 2026. The suspects allegedly conspired to commit felonies, assaulted two workers, and carried knives while making threats to extort property.

In a separate case, police are searching for 32-year-old Syrian national Mahmoud Al Taher in connection with an incident on July 25, 2026. He is wanted for alleged conspiracy to commit a felony, kidnapping, common assault, and carrying a weapon. Reports indicate this case is linked to a violent brawl that left a 21-year-old man hospitalized with a knife wound, a situation for which two other individuals, including a minor, have already been arrested.

Authorities have released photographs of the suspects to the public to facilitate the ongoing investigations. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has urged anyone with information to contact them at 25-805057, visit the nearest police station, or call the Citizen Line at 1460.
