Police in Limassol search for suspects after construction site attack

On July 29, 2026, the Cyprus Police released photographs of individuals wanted in connection with a violent incident that occurred in the Limassol district on July 20, 2026. Authorities are seeking two identified suspects, 23-year-old Walid Aljuhmani and 25-year-old Qasai Aljuhmani, as well as a third unnamed individual whose photograph has also been released to the public.

The suspects are being investigated for a series of serious offenses including conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor, physical injury, illegal knife possession, carrying a weapon to incite terror, and demanding property with threats for the purpose of theft. According to reports from the Cyprus Times, the group allegedly entered a construction site and attacked two workers.
