Bird Aviation and easyJet sign long-term maintenance agreement in Larnaca
Bird Aviation and the airline easyJet have entered into a long-term agreement for scheduled aircraft maintenance services, to be carried out at the Bird Aviation facilities in Larnaca, Cyprus. The deal covers two maintenance lines and focuses on heavy maintenance checks for easyJet’s Airbus A320 family fleet.
The contract has an initial duration of seven years, with an option for both parties to extend the partnership for an additional three years, potentially totaling a ten-year collaboration. This agreement formalizes a stable framework for the ongoing service relationship between the two companies and reinforces the strategic importance of the Larnaca maintenance base for easyJet's fleet operations.
This new deal builds upon the existing long-standing cooperation between Bird Aviation and easyJet. By securing this multi-year commitment, the maintenance provider aims to strengthen its role in supporting the airline's maintenance schedule for the foreseeable future, ensuring consistent technical oversight for the Airbus A320 fleet as part of their continued operational partnership.
