French electronic musician Kavinsky dies at 50

French electronic music producer and DJ Vincent Belorgey, known professionally as Kavinsky, passed away at the age of 50. He was found dead at his home in Paris on Tuesday night. Kavinsky rose to international fame with his 2010 track "Nightcall," produced in collaboration with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. The song gained global recognition after being featured in the 2011 film "Drive." His discography includes two studio albums: "OutRun" (2013) and "Reborn" (2022). Notably, he performed "Nightcall" at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics in August 2024.
