Allwyn Cyprus donates nine vehicles to support Troodos mountain communities

On July 30, 2026, Allwyn Cyprus held a formal ceremony in Trimiklini to donate nine vehicles to voluntary organizations and social care providers operating in the Troodos mountain region. The event was attended by the First Lady, members of the Cabinet, local government representatives, and community residents.

The vehicles are designated for use by Community Welfare Councils and various local volunteer groups. These resources will assist in addressing the daily needs of mountainous residents, specifically facilitating the transportation of children, the elderly, and individuals requiring specialized care, while supporting broader community social activities.

During the ceremony, Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou read a message on behalf of President Nikos Christodoulides. The administration highlighted the donation as a collaborative model between the private sector and the State intended to strengthen social cohesion. This initiative is part of Allwyn Cyprus' long-term corporate social responsibility strategy, which seeks to provide practical, ongoing support to local communities that face unique geographic and social challenges in the region.
