Limassol Tourism Board launches new digital visitor guide
The Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP), with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, officially launched an upgraded digital travel guide on July 29, 2026. This centralized platform serves as a primary tool for visitors, consolidating essential travel information regarding the city and the wider Limassol district.
The new website features comprehensive data on tourist attractions, traditional villages, beaches, hotels, and outdoor activities. It also includes interactive maps and a year-round calendar of cultural, culinary, and athletic events. A key innovation of the platform is the integration of an AI-powered chatbot, designed to function as a personal, multilingual travel assistant. This tool provides users with real-time, customized recommendations for itineraries, hiking trails, cycling routes, and local experiences.
This initiative is part of a broader regional strategy to enhance the tourist experience through digital transformation. The platform aims to simplify the planning process by offering a single, user-friendly interface that aggregates all regional offerings, from gastronomy and winemaking to accommodation and sightseeing, ensuring visitors have instant access to professional guidance throughout their stay.
