Unidentified object crashes in Poland following Russian missile strikes on Ukraine

On July 30, 2026, an unidentified object crashed into a field near the village of Tarnawa Kolonia in eastern Poland, approximately 80 to 95 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The object was initially detected on Polish radar at 3:40 a.m. while Russia conducted a wave of aerial attacks against Ukraine, resulting in at least 13 casualties. Polish forces deployed fighter jets and an Mi-24 helicopter to locate the debris, which was found after disappearing from military tracking systems.
