Survivor contestant Stavros Floros takes first steps after amputation

Two months after a severe boat accident while filming the reality show Survivor, contestant Stavros Floros has shared a milestone in his recovery. Floros, who suffered an amputation of one leg and serious injuries to the other, posted a video on his Instagram account showing him standing up and walking with support, having temporarily moved out of his wheelchair.

Following the accident, Floros spent several weeks in Miami, where he underwent multiple surgeries and intensive rehabilitation. He returned to his home country of Greece in mid-July to continue his recovery process while being close to his family, specifically settling in Kavala. He continues to provide updates on his health status to his social media followers, emphasizing his persistence and optimism during the rehabilitation journey.

Although the accident resulted in permanent physical changes, Floros is actively participating in ongoing specialized therapy programs to regain mobility. He remains in Greece, where he will continue his recovery sessions to improve his walking capabilities further.
