PAOK strengthens squad with arrivals of Tom Louchet and William Mikelbrencis

PAOK Thessaloniki is finalizing two key defensive and midfield additions to their squad. French midfielder Tom Louchet, 23, arrived in Thessaloniki on August 2 after the club reached an agreement with Nice for a fee of approximately 3 million euros. Louchet, who signed a three-year deal, is expected to be registered for the upcoming European matches against Anderlecht. His versatility allowed him to play in multiple positions during his 42 appearances last season.

Simultaneously, the club is set to sign 22-year-old right-back William Mikelbrencis, who joins from Hamburger SV to address a vacancy in defense. Following the completion of medical and ergometric tests, he is expected to join the squad immediately, with management aiming to include him in the European list. While focusing on these arrivals, PAOK has officially rejected interest from AS Roma regarding the transfer of midfielder Giannis Konstantelias, designating him as a core asset. Furthermore, the club is reportedly in ongoing negotiations to secure the return of left-back Dimitris Giannoulis from Augsburg.
