PAOK Thessaloniki secures transfer of Tom Louchet from OGC Nice
PAOK Thessaloniki has reached an agreement with French club OGC Nice to sign 23-year-old midfielder Tom Louchet. The transfer deal, finalized late Thursday, is valued at approximately 3 million euros. Louchet, who is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki this weekend for final medical examinations and administrative procedures, will sign a three-year contract with the Greek club. His annual salary is reportedly set at 1 million euros.
Louchet primarily operates as a central midfielder but is also capable of playing on the left flank. Standing 1.78 meters tall, the versatile player developed through the Istres youth system before joining Nice in 2019. Over the past three seasons, he has seen significant playing time, recording 42 appearances last season with 3 goals and 3 assists. His existing contract with Nice was set to expire next summer, which facilitated the negotiations.
PAOK aims to complete the registration process swiftly to include Louchet in the squad for the upcoming European qualifying matches against Anderlecht. This addition is intended to strengthen the team's midfield rotation for the ongoing season.
