Omonia prepares for Europa League qualifiers against Lincoln Red Imps

Following their elimination from the Champions League by Kairat Almaty, Omonia Nicosia is shifting its focus to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. The Cypriot side will face Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps, with the first leg scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Gibraltar. Lincoln Red Imps, the dominant force in Gibraltar’s football, historically plays its matches at the Victoria Stadium, though the league currently utilizes the Europa Point Stadium due to ongoing renovations. The club reached the League Phase of the Conference League last season, signaling that Omonia must avoid underestimating their opponents.
