Limassol Marina residents report severe noise pollution

Residents of the Limassol Marina in Cyprus have reported experiencing severe noise pollution for nearly five years, originating from a nearby seaside entertainment venue. The ongoing dispute has reached a critical point following the release of an independent environmental study, which confirms that noise levels consistently exceed legal limits, causing what is described as "very high noise disturbance" for people living in the area.

According to the study, the sound emissions are significantly higher than the natural acoustic environment, preventing residents from resting or enjoying their high-value properties despite previous attempts to mitigate the noise. Local residents claim that they have repeatedly sought intervention from the relevant authorities to enforce existing noise legislation, yet the situation remains unresolved, significantly impacting their daily lives and quality of sleep.
