Nea Salamina kicks off new season with team presentation and open training

Nea Salamina has officially commenced its preparations for the upcoming season following the conclusion of its training camp in Poland. On July 31, 2026, the club held an official presentation of its squad and technical staff at the Ammochostos-Epistrophi Stadium in Larnaca, followed by the first open training session of the year.

The event began at 19:00 with an address by the club president, followed by the introduction of the players, including many new signings, and a formal blessing ceremony. The club, now under the guidance of coach Angel Lopez, aims to solidify its position in the First Division after its recent promotion. Hundreds of supporters gathered at the stadium to show their backing and enthusiasm for the new campaign.

Moving forward, the team will continue its training at the club’s facility in Meneou. The technical staff is focused on utilizing upcoming friendly matches to refine the squad’s performance ahead of the official league premiere.
