Nea Salamina prepares for the new season with fan events and roster adjustments

Nea Salamina has returned from its training camp in Poland and is currently preparing for the upcoming 2026-2027 season under head coach Angel Lopez. The club has successfully completed eleven transfers, including players such as Grancir, Gerolemou, Kovacs, Kintiya, Konfe, Giousis, Lambropoulos, Poveda, Anen, Manou, and Philiotis. Despite this progress, the management is still seeking to sign a central defender, an attacking midfielder, and a center forward to complete their 14-player recruitment goal. A previously agreed deal for a center-back reportedly fell through, prompting the club to explore alternative options.

The team held an open training session and roster presentation at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi Stadium to engage with fans. Additionally, the club has scheduled its annual 'Fan Day' for Sunday, August 23, from 18:30 to 22:30 at the stadium's auxiliary facilities. The event is intended to strengthen ties with the community through activities, music, and player interactions. As part of its final preparations for the league opening, Nea Salamina will host a friendly match against Omonia 29th May on Wednesday at 19:30.
