Arsenal reaches agreement to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle

Arsenal has reached a definitive agreement with Newcastle United for the transfer of 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. The player has already agreed to personal terms, securing a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium that will run until the summer of 2031.

Guimaraes, who joined Newcastle in 2022, was a key priority for Arsenal’s management to bolster their midfield. Recent reports indicate that the player did not join Newcastle’s pre-season training camp in Spain to facilitate his departure.
