Aris Limassol in advanced talks for Saint-Etienne defender Mickael Nade
Aris Limassol is currently in advanced negotiations to acquire 27-year-old French defender Mickael Nade from Saint-Etienne. According to reports from French media outlets, including 'peuple-vert.fr' and Footmercato, the Cypriot club has submitted an official bid that, including bonuses, reaches approximately 2,000,000 euros. The deal is nearing completion, supported by the fact that the player was recently omitted from Saint-Etienne's squad for a friendly match against Rangers.
Nade has spent the entirety of his professional career with Saint-Etienne, excluding a loan spell at Rouen during the 2020-21 season. He has made 144 appearances for the French side across Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the French Cup. Last season, he was a key figure for the club, recording 36 appearances during their promotion campaign.
While Aris Limassol appears to be the frontrunner, reports suggest that the player has also attracted interest from an undisclosed Russian club. Following recent meetings between the athlete and representatives from Aris, a final decision regarding the move is now pending.
