Teenager in serious condition following Limassol motorcycle collision

A 17-year-old motorcyclist is in serious condition following a road accident in Limassol that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, August 2, 2026. The collision took place at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Spyrou Araouzou Street, involving the teenager's motorcycle and a car driven by a 37-year-old man.

Following the crash, the 17-year-old was hospitalized with severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, lung contusion, and bleeding from his ears and nose. The 37-year-old driver also sustained injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Limassol for treatment. Medical personnel are monitoring the condition of both individuals.
