Arrest made in murder of 38-year-old British woman in Kypseli

Greek authorities have arrested a 26-year-old Afghan national in connection with the death of 38-year-old British citizen Elizabeth Ross. Her body was discovered inside a suitcase within an abandoned building in the Kypseli district of Athens. Police officials from the Organized Crime Division confirmed that the case has been officially solved following a thorough investigation.

The suspect reportedly confessed to finding the woman dead but admitted to placing her body in a suitcase to conceal the event while he used her bank cards to withdraw 10,000 euros. Authorities have charged the man with intentional homicide, robbery, and weapons violations after a replica pistol and a knife were discovered during a search of his residence.
