Levi Garcia joins Panathinaikos on loan from Spartak Moscow

Panathinaikos has officially completed the signing of 28-year-old forward Levi Garcia from Spartak Moscow on a one-year loan deal. The agreement, finalized on August 4, 2026, includes a purchase option for the upcoming summer. Negotiations were spearheaded by Panathinaikos technical director Stefanos Kotsolis, with club owner Giannis Alafouzos approving the financial terms. Garcia, who previously starred for AEK Athens from 2020 to 2025, recording 56 goals and 27 assists in 160 appearances, will now bolster the team’s offensive capabilities.

The deal was accelerated to ensure Garcia’s registration for the team's European roster before the deadline. Following successful medical examinations conducted in Russia, the player is immediately available to coach Jacob Nistrup and will be included in the squad for the upcoming match against CSKA 1948. While initial reports highlighted varying demands for the loan fee, the final arrangement allows the Greek club to integrate a high-profile player who is already well-acquainted with the local league environment.
