APOEL concludes Dutch training camp and prepares for new season

APOEL has officially concluded its primary pre-season training camp in the Netherlands. During the Dutch leg of preparation, the team played several matches, including a 1-2 defeat to Fortuna Sittard, where defender Joan Sastre scored a notable direct free-kick. Coach Nikos Papadopoulos is now focusing on final squad adjustments and the integration of new signings as the team returns to Cyprus.

Looking ahead, APOEL has scheduled a series of friendly matches, starting with a home game against Kifisia on August 8 at the GSP Stadium. Further tests are planned against Anorthosis on August 16 and Olympiacos on August 22. Simultaneously, club officials Zisis Vryzas and Nikos Papadopoulos are in advanced negotiations to finalize the transfer of 27-year-old midfielder Facundo Perez from Lanus, as the team seeks to bolster its roster before the league season begins.
