Trump suspends planned attacks on Iran pending nuclear and maritime negotiations

Following the postponement, President Trump confirmed that negotiations between the parties are scheduled to commence on Monday afternoon. While he declined to set a specific deadline for an agreement, he stressed that the goal remains the total neutralization of the nuclear threat and the secure reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, represented by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, has simultaneously issued warnings against American military adventurism, stating that the country is prepared to retaliate decisively if threatened. This development comes as a continuation of the ongoing conflict launched by the United States and Israel against Iran earlier this year.
