Cypriot defender Stelios Andreou joins Estoril on loan

Cypriot central defender Stelios Andreou is set to join Portuguese club Estoril on a loan agreement from Polish side Widzew Lodz. The 23-year-old international, who has earned 30 caps for Cyprus, will strengthen the defensive line managed by coach Vasco Matos following the departures of Felix Bacher and Kevin Boma.

The deal includes a non-mandatory purchase option valued at 1.5 million euros. Andreou is scheduled to travel to Portugal imminently to undergo medical examinations and finalize the contract. His arrival comes during the final week of Estoril's preparations for the upcoming Primeira Liga season, which begins this Friday with a home match.
