Two arrested for the murder of a psychologist in Nafplio

The body of a 58-year-old psychologist, reported missing since late July, was discovered on Sunday in a remote area of Kandia, Argolis. Greek police have arrested two Indian nationals, aged 20 and 24, who have confessed to the crime.

According to official police reports, the incident occurred on the evening of July 24. The two suspects entered the victim’s car, immobilized him, and fatally stabbed him with a knife. The victim’s disappearance was reported by a relative on July 25. Following the murder, the perpetrators stole the psychologist's money, his mobile phone, and his vehicle, which they subsequently abandoned on a hill near their residence. The body was discovered at a significant distance from where the vehicle had been previously located by authorities.

A formal case file has been opened against the suspects, including charges of homicide, robbery, and illegal possession of weapons. A forensic examination is currently underway to confirm the exact circumstances and timeline of the victim's death, as the body was found in a state of advanced decomposition.
