Annita: Utilizing the window of opportunity to resume talks

Democratic Rally (DISY) President Annita Demetriou has called for the utilization of the current diplomatic window to resume Cyprus peace talks from where they stalled at Crans-Montana. Following a National Council meeting, she emphasized the need for collective, methodical action and minimal public rhetoric to allow diplomacy to succeed. Demetriou noted that the Greek Cypriot side must pursue careful, strategic moves linked to wider regional and European-Turkish developments, aiming for a five-party meeting before the UN Secretary-General's term ends in December.
