AEL Limassol completes the signing of French midfielder Remi Oudin
AEL Limassol has officially announced the signing of the 29-year-old French midfielder Remi Oudin. The player, born on November 18, 1996, has signed a contract with the Cypriot club extending until 2028. The deal was finalized in early August 2026 while the team was at its training camp in Poland, where the player had already joined his new teammates.
Oudin brings significant experience from top European leagues, having previously played for Reims and Bordeaux in France, as well as Lecce and Sampdoria in Italy. AEL's spokesperson, Nikolas Leventis, highlighted the importance of the signing, noting that the team is looking to add experienced personalities to its roster. Oudin is expected to provide tactical versatility, primarily playing as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing. This acquisition is part of AEL's broader effort to build squad homogeneity under coach Hugo Martins, as the team prepares for the upcoming championship season starting with a match against Anorthosis.
