Cyprus University of Technology hosts summer schools for Chinese students
The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is currently hosting two summer schools for students from partner universities in China, marking a significant step in its international academic collaboration efforts. According to an official announcement on August 3, 2026, one of these programs involves students from the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU).
This initiative represents the fourth summer school organized by CUT in cooperation with HDU, highlighting the established partnership between the two institutions. During their three-week stay in Cyprus, the students are participating in a comprehensive curriculum that combines academic instruction with cultural exchange. The program includes intensive lessons in Greek language and culture, English language skills training, and hands-on workshops focused on Artificial Intelligence and STEAM disciplines.
The collaboration serves to strengthen research and educational ties between Cyprus and China while providing international students with experiential learning opportunities. The university expects that these programs will continue to foster global academic engagement and knowledge sharing between the participating departments.
