Road maintenance on Griva Digeni Avenue in Nicosia

The Municipality of Nicosia has announced scheduled road maintenance on Griva Digeni Avenue to conduct horizontal road marking. The works are set to take place over two consecutive nights, specifically from Wednesday, August 5, to the early hours of Thursday, August 6, and again from Thursday, August 6, to the early hours of Friday, August 7, 2026.

During these periods, from 22:00 to 05:00, the specified section of Griva Digeni Avenue will be closed to traffic. On the night of August 5, the closure will affect the segment from the intersection with Prodromou Street to the intersection with Agiou Prokopiou Street in the direction of Agiou Prokopiou. On the night of August 6, the same segment will be closed but in the opposite direction, toward Prodromou Street.

The municipal authorities have requested that drivers exercise caution, comply with temporary road signage, and follow the instructions provided by the police. The Nicosia Municipality has apologized for any inconvenience and expressed gratitude for the public's cooperation during the execution of these essential infrastructure works.
