Omonia set for Europa League playoff draw against Sint-Truiden

Omonia Nicosia has been drawn to face the Belgian side Sint-Truiden in the Europa League playoff round, provided the Cypriot team successfully advances past Lincoln in the preceding qualifying stage. Founded in 1924, Sint-Truiden is based in Belgium and plays at the 14,600-capacity Stayen Stadion. Known as "the Canaries" for their yellow and blue colors, the club has spent much of its recent history in the top division after previously securing three second-division titles. Notably, the team returns to European competition for the first time since 2003, when they participated in the now-defunct Intertoto Cup.
