Omonoia set to sign Andreas Mavroudis on loan from Nea Salamina

Omonoia is finalizing a deal to acquire 18-year-old attacking midfielder Andreas Mavroudis from Nea Salamina. The agreement is structured as a loan, with reports indicating it includes a purchase option set for the summer of 2027 and a sell-on clause benefiting the selling club.

Mavroudis, a versatile player who primarily features as a playmaker, has represented Cyprus at the U17 and U19 international levels. He spent the previous season on loan at Pafos FC, where he gained significant experience in both domestic competition and the UEFA Youth League. Omonoia management views this signing as part of a developmental strategy, aiming to integrate the young talent into their first-team setup over the coming years.
