Dimitris Giannoulis returns to PAOK Thessaloniki

PAOK has officially secured the return of 30-year-old left-back Dimitris Giannoulis from the German club Augsburg. The deal, which follows intense negotiations, marks a significant transfer for the Thessaloniki-based team. According to reports, the total cost of the transfer is estimated at 4.25 million euros, including bonuses, following a persistent push from the player himself to return to his former club.

Giannoulis is scheduled to arrive at Thessaloniki's Macedonia Airport on August 5, 2026, at 18:50 via Munich and Athens. Upon his arrival, he is expected to undergo mandatory medical examinations before finalizing the contract.
