Houthi rebels escalate attacks on Saudi targets and maritime shipping

Yemen's Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, have intensified their military operations against Saudi Arabia. These actions occur within the context of a declared naval blockade initiated by the Houthis on July 22, which the group claims is in response to a Saudi-led siege of Yemen, an accusation rejected by Riyadh. According to the rebels, these latest maritime strikes bring the total number of vessels targeted since the blockade's inception to eight.
