Russian paratrooper dies during demonstration jump near Moscow

A 41-year-old veteran of the Russian Airborne Forces died on August 2, 2026, during a public demonstration jump held near Moscow. The paratrooper jumped from an altitude of approximately 600 meters, but his main parachute failed to deploy properly.
