Former Cyta CEO Andreas Neocleous joins PwC

Andreas Neocleous, the former Chief Executive Officer of the telecommunications organization Cyta, has joined the auditing firm PwC. Although the firm has not issued an official announcement, Mr. Neocleous confirmed he will assume his new role in the technology consulting department starting in October 2026. His appointment is attributed to his extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors, gained during his tenure as the first private-sector executive to lead Cyta under a contract during the Anastasiades administration.

Neocleous resigned from his position at Cyta in August 2025. Following his resignation, he had reportedly accepted a senior role in the technology consulting division of EY in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before this transition to PwC. Born in 1972 and a graduate of Imperial College, London, Neocleous was noted for his collaborative relationship with labor unions during his leadership at the semi-governmental organization. There are no further details regarding specific project timelines or the exact scope of his responsibilities within PwC beyond his appointment to the consulting division.
