Police search for burglary suspects and missing persons in Cyprus

Cypriot authorities have issued several urgent public appeals regarding ongoing investigations. Police in Limassol are seeking the public's assistance to identify three individuals wanted in connection with a burglary and theft that occurred on July 27, 2026. Separately, in the Nicosia district, authorities are searching for 38-year-old William Tziamas, who is wanted for theft and illegal entry into a residence committed on July 21, 2026.

In addition to these criminal investigations, the police are conducting search operations for two missing foreign nationals. Angel Angelov, a 79-year-old Bulgarian tourist, has been missing from his residence in the Strovolos area of Nicosia since August 6, 2026. He is described as being slim, 1.80 meters tall, and having short white hair; he was last seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt and light brown shorts. Furthermore, 58-year-old Georgi Panayotov, also from Bulgaria, has been reported missing from his residence in Nicosia since August 1, 2026. He is 1.70 meters tall with short white hair and a beard.
