A nurse, identified as Nelson, successfully neutralized an aggressive, intoxicated patient at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. The incident, which was recorded on security footage, occurred when the patient suddenly turned violent while being escorted out of the emergency department. After the man threw an object and allegedly attempted to punch the nurse, Nelson utilized Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques to bring him to the ground and safely immobilize him until security personnel arrived on the scene.
