Explosive-carrying drone found at Leipzig Airport

German police discovered a drone equipped with an explosive device in the cargo area of Leipzig/Halle Airport during an overnight operation. Following the discovery, a police robot was deployed, and flight operations were temporarily suspended, though one runway has since reopened. Authorities are also investigating a separate incident involving an unidentified object that struck a cargo plane shortly after takeoff, forcing the aircraft to divert to Hanover for repairs.
