Cyprus Basketball Federation announces 2026-2027 season start dates

The Cyprus Basketball Federation has officially announced the start dates for its upcoming 2026-2027 season across all leagues and age categories. The schedule aims to facilitate early planning and adequate preparation for all participating clubs.

The competitive season kicks off with the Under-18 Men's and Women's championships on September 19, 2026, followed by the Under-16 categories on September 20. The Basket League is scheduled to commence between October 9 and 12, while the Women’s Championship begins on October 10. Other notable dates include the Super Cup Basket League on October 1, the Under-14 categories on October 3, and the Men’s B1 and B2 categories on October 18, 2026.

While several competition dates have been finalized, the Federation noted that the Women’s Super Cup, the Wheelchair Basketball Championship, and the mixed Under-12 and Under-10 tournaments remain pending. These schedules will be announced at a later stage as the Federation completes its administrative arrangements.
