Two men arrested for murdering five people in Thailand

Two men, 43-year-old Tana Pong Kerdong and 39-year-old Tongchai Tong Skrinil, have been apprehended in Thailand following the murders of five individuals. The perpetrators are accused of killing two Russian siblings, 17-year-old Roman Nazimov and 22-year-old Diana Nazimova, to steal their motorcycle, as well as an entire Thai family consisting of a father, a mother, and their 18-year-old daughter, Nitchapa, to seize their truck.

The investigation began after the victims' mother reported the Russian siblings missing on July 26, 2026. On July 31, police discovered the bodies of the siblings buried in a shallow grave in a forest in Chonburi province. Subsequent searches revealed a second clandestine burial site nearby, where the bodies of the three Thai family members were located. Reports indicate that the victims were killed through violent means, including shootings and severe beatings.

The case has caused significant public outrage across Thailand. Authorities are currently processing the crime scenes and forensic evidence as the suspects remain in custody following their confessions regarding the spree of thefts and homicides.
