Nea Salamina continues pre-season preparations and transfer planning
Nea Salamina is currently focused on its pre-season preparations, with team spokesperson Loizos Moiseos confirming that coach Angel Lopez is satisfied with the progress made so far. The team recently played a 1-1 draw against Omonia 29th of May in its first friendly match on Cypriot soil, an event used by the technical staff to test various lineups and tactical formations rather than focusing on the result.
Regarding the transfer market, the club is looking to add three more players to its roster to complete the squad, specifically targeting a central striker, a central defender, and an attacking midfielder. While these three positions are the priority, the club management has noted that market developments may lead to minor adjustments to this plan. Upgrades to the Ammochostos-Epistrofi stadium and the ongoing season ticket sales are also part of the club’s current operational agenda.
Nea Salamina has a busy friendly schedule ahead, including matches against Enosis Neon Paralimniou on August 8 at Tasos Markou Stadium, Anorthosis at home, and a match against Krasava on August 15. The club continues to evaluate the market for potential signings and is managing ongoing infrastructure projects at its home stadium.
