Nea Salamina prepares for new season with upcoming friendlies and squad additions

Nea Salamina spokesperson Loizos Moiseos recently outlined the club's ongoing preparations for the upcoming football season. During recent media statements, he emphasized that the coaching staff, led by Archen Lopez, is currently testing various tactics and player combinations, utilizing different lineups across the two halves of friendly matches. Moiseos expressed satisfaction with the team's current trajectory.

Regarding recruitment, the club aims to complete its roster by signing three additional players: an attacking midfielder, a center-forward, and a defender. While the original plan involves three specific additions, the club may adjust based on circumstances. Furthermore, discussions regarding a cooperation agreement with Ypsonas remain ongoing, though no final decision has been reached yet.

The club is continuing its schedule of friendly matches to refine performance. Following a recent draw, Nea Salamina is set to face Enosis Neon Paralimniou on August 8, followed by matches against Anorthosis on August 12 and Krasava on August 15, all held at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi stadium. Work on upgrading the stadium facilities and the sale of season tickets are also progressing.
