The Cypriot Council of Ministers announced on Thursday the activation of the legislation for the establishment of the Cyprus Business Development Agency and appointed its seven-member board of directors. Led by chairman Michalis Kammas and vice-chairman Stelios Theophanous, the body aims to facilitate funding for small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and self-employed individuals. Finance Minister Makis Keravnos emphasized that this initiative fulfills government commitments to bridge existing market financing gaps through structured organizational development.
