Police in Paphos arrest 28-year-old for burglaries and drug possession

A 28-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of August 6, 2026, in the Kissonerga area of Paphos, Cyprus, following a coordinated police operation to prevent burglaries. Officers from the Paphos Police Department observed the suspect acting suspiciously and entering residential courtyards. After a brief attempt to escape, the man was apprehended and caught in the act of illegal entry.
