AEK Larnaca continues pre-season preparations with friendlies and roster evaluations
AEK Larnaca is actively refining its roster ahead of the upcoming season, with management and technical staff signaling potential modifications to the current 17-player foreign and community quota. Spokesman Kyriakos Dimitriou emphasized that the administration is committed to making necessary adjustments to enhance team quality, even if it requires exceeding the planned budget.
As part of their ongoing preparation, the team is engaging in a series of friendly matches. After playing Karmiotissa on August 7, the club is set to face Omonia Aradippou on August 8 at the AEK Arena. Furthermore, the club has confirmed a significant away test against Greek side Asteras AKTOR on Wednesday, August 12, at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium in Tripoli. The team is scheduled to travel to Greece on August 11, following a morning training session in Cyprus, and return on August 13. Another friendly match against Omonia 29M is planned for August 21 at the Katokopia Epistrofi-Glafkos Clerides Stadium. Coach Mauro Camoranesi is using these encounters to evaluate players and finalize his tactical vision for the new season.
