AEK Larnaca reorganizes roster and confirms new friendly match schedule

AEK Larnaca is actively restructuring its squad under the direction of president Andros Karapatakis. Despite having 17 foreign and community players currently on the roster—including Muftic, Van der Hoorn, Saborit, and others—the club management and coaching staff are planning necessary additions and departures to improve overall quality. Spokesperson Kyriakos Dimitriou confirmed that the team is taking steps to optimize the roster for the upcoming season, even if it requires budgetary adjustments.

In preparation for the new season, the club has finalized a series of friendly matches. The upcoming schedule includes games against Karmiotissa on August 7 and Omonia Aradippou on August 8 at the AEK Arena. Furthermore, the team will travel to Tripoli to face Asteras AKTOR at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium on August 12. The final announced fixture in this preparation series is against Omonia 29M, scheduled for August 21 at the Katokopia Epistrofi - Glafkos Clerides Stadium.
