Cyprus mobile services market survey shows high consumer satisfaction
The Commissioner for Electronic Communications published the results of the sixth annual survey on mobile service quality in Cyprus, conducted in May 2026 by Pulse Market Research Ltd. The study gathered feedback from 1,207 individuals, including 812 in urban and 395 in rural areas, using both telephone and online interviews. The results indicate that overall consumer satisfaction remains high at 8.4 out of 10, showing a minor decrease from the 8.5 score recorded in 2025.
Price remains the primary factor for consumers, with 46% citing competitive offers as the top reason for selecting a provider and 37% identifying lower charges as the main motivation for switching carriers. While value for money perceptions improved slightly to 8.2 out of 10, the survey highlights a marginal increase in complaints, which rose to 17% from 16% in 2025. Commonly reported issues include poor mobile internet performance, dropped calls, and network service interruptions, with younger users reporting these problems more frequently. Additionally, satisfaction regarding how providers handle customer complaints has seen a decline compared to the previous year.
