Summer cultural events and festivals across Cypriot villages

Cypriot villages are hosting a series of traditional summer events, music festivals, and community gatherings throughout August and September 2026. A total of 17 diverse festivities have been announced, spanning various locations including Vouni, Kelokedara, Agios Theodoros Pitsilias, Kormakitis, Agros, Lemithou, Kalopanagiotis, and Temvria, aimed at promoting local culture and tourism.

The village of Vouni has released a specific itinerary under the theme 'The whole village is one group'. The schedule includes the 'Paizei Party at Vouni No. 4' held on August 8 at the Museum Square. This will be followed by the 'Music and Tombola' event at Mesochoro on August 14–15, and an evening of artistic music at the Havouza location on August 16. The local programming in Vouni concludes on September 20.

These events are part of a long-standing tradition designed to foster social cohesion among locals, expatriates, and visitors. By combining live music, dance, traditional gastronomy, and local customs, these initiatives aim to highlight the cultural heritage of the Cypriot countryside while providing entertainment for families and tourists alike.
