Food delivery driver attacked and robbed in Limassol

On the morning of August 8, 2026, a 23-year-old food delivery driver was attacked and robbed in the Agios Sylas area of Limassol. According to the police report, the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. while the victim was attempting to complete a delivery. Two unidentified individuals assaulted the driver, causing minor injuries, specifically abrasions to his hands.

The suspects stole the food order, the victim’s mobile phone, and a small sum of money before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) has launched an investigation into the robbery and is currently pursuing the perpetrators.
