Greek influencer Ioanna Touni was hospitalized on August 7, 2026, after suffering a severe case of food poisoning. The incident occurred just before her planned departure for a trip to celebrate her 33rd birthday. Touni, who was absent from social media throughout the day due to her condition, reported that she spent the entire night at the hospital, where she received two liters of intravenous fluids and antibiotics.

Despite her physical exhaustion and the health setback, Touni decided to proceed with her travel plans. She has embarked on a trip with her son, Paris, and her companions to an undisclosed destination. Touni noted that she is still in the process of recovering, expressing concern regarding the physical toll of her upcoming long-haul travel, which she described as involving approximately one hundred hours of flight time.
